Tell us about yourself, where you’re from and what you enjoy.
Kindly know as Ms. Jackie, I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I married and moved to Milwaukee in November 1988. I have one son named Emmanuel who is a lawyer residing in St. Paul, MN. Using my unique connection with children, I owned and operated Baby Whisperer Childcare Services, in my home for 10 years. I enjoy serving in my church, gardening, singing and spending time with family and friends.
Why did you start your business? What makes you passionate about it?
I have been making Emmanuel’s Mix for over 10 years. I have always felt it was a gift. I love the way faces light up when they taste it. I find joy in knowing I have shared my gift of love. My dream, now a reality, was to license The Mix and see it on store shelves. My goal is to create an empire that can give back to the community and the world through generous giving to impact the lives of children.
What do you want people to know about your business?
I am dedicated to providing an unforgettable, high quality product for you and your family to enjoy. I am thankful for everyone who has supported my Emmanuel’s Mix journey.
Please explain why your business is important to the community.
My business is an example to others that you can turn your dreams into reality. With integrity, determination and hard work you can open doors of opportunity for yourself and many others.
Anything else we should know?
I am truly grateful to be a part of this years MKE Black Gift Box Fundraiser!
