Milwaukee Black Theater Festival: Thursday, August 12th – Sunday, August 22nd

Milwaukee’s annual Black Theater festival will features several in-person events and performances, including Pretty Fire and Black Butterflies.

Stories from Bronzeville: Thursday, August 12th, 6pm

Sponsored by Milwaukee Public Library and MKE Black, Stories from Bronzeville will feature business owners and community leaders discussing the history, culture, and future of Milwaukee’s Bronzeville Community. Bronzeville is composed of parts of the Harambee, Brewer’s Hill, and Halyard Park neighborhoods, and is home to restaurants, shops, and local organizations. The event will air on Milwaukee Public Library’s Facebook page.
